Let me introduce myself. My name is Renske, born and raised in the Netherlands. I am a spontaneous, straight forward, creative designer. I absolutely love meeting new people and visiting different places all over the world. Traveling translates into inspiration for me and is extremely important. 

 

I went backpacking in Thailand for 4 weeks where I noticed that Thai people have a huge amount of respect for their ancestors. They are more spiritual oriented than most cultures, which translates into traditions and ceremonies. Thai population have a strong sense of hospitality and generosity. As a foreigner you feel right at home in a totally different culture. Once you turn 50, you can retire and enjoy your pension. Lots of retires come to Thailand to experience an early retirement.

In my spare time I, create content and concepts for companies. The designed concepts are based on target group and trends in our society. For the sorority ‘MAK’, ‘Lieve Lust’ and ‘Olof’ I designed t-shirts and sweaters for their clubs. 

Another quality of mine is design and photography projects. My experience in the USA and London gave me inspiration on the diversity of cultures. 

 

The Americans are extremely hospitable and spontaneous, which some may experience as overdone. My experience while living there, is that this community will do anything to make you feel at home. They are willing to help you, whether it is with big things or small.
